“Obtained from Merlot grapes, aged in wood for 12 months.
Uva nel legno wine has an intense red color, almost dark, with nuances tending to garnet red, with a strong bouquet reminiscent of small red berries, underbrush of musk and resin as well as hints of leather.
On the palate it is decidedly authoritative because of the sustained alcoholic content while the balanced tannic notes cover it with generous persistence.
Pairing
Uva nel legno wine goes well with aged cheeses, dried meats, stews and spit- roasted red meats.
Serve at room temperature preferably decanted, better if uncorked at least three hours before tasting.
